Distinguishing features
A drain that runs into a drain that runs into a river, ten or twelve feet wide and nobody fishes it at all, well it's not very inspiring. I had an afternoon fishing and was fishless until I cast in here out of complete boredom. First cast a huge pull on the deadbeat and second cast a pike.
Don't judge a book by its cover an old maxim that certainly applies on this featureless drain and it will be tested again on another day very soon.
Here's hoping for a tight line on the drain to nowhere.
