Homage to an apple

There we were out on patrol, me driving and the boss in the turret, when we saw this fabulous example of leaded glass.
Is it Victorian, Edwardian, the twenties or thirties? The cottage with this little masterpiece in the front door is late Victorian so we'll give them the credit, but then we always do.
We do live in what used to be a huge apple growing area and here is a small but spectacular homage to an apple that is still grown here, but perhaps not in the amounts that you would prompt you to name your cottage after the type.
Although why not? It's better than 'Dunroamin' or 'Donanella'. Or even the imaginative 'Orchard View'.
Species specific, that's how to name your cottage.
