The January one

A little late but better late than never, the Two Terriers presents 'The January One'.  Our only excuse for such a late presentation is that the Beggarstaff Brothers must have been enjoying their collective hunting and festive celebrations, complete with sloe gin obviously.
Sadly we have no original copy to go with this print so you'll just have to settle for Oscar Wilde's description of fox hunting, 'the English country gentleman galloping after a fox - the unspeakable in pursuit of the inedible.'
Never mind, it's a lovely woodcut and the red works for us.
