A wonderful full moon at the beginning of July and the Boss tells me it is known as a 'Rose Moon'. Why? It could just as easily be called an 'Orange Moon' because of the colour or even a 'Strawberry Moon' around here.
Maybe it's because it looks like an orange tinted rose, I tend towards the thought that it's just an arbitrary name for a summer moon but that orange glow does look a bit menacing.
I wonder if the full moon has anything to do with the extra hair and long nails I'm growing? I'm just going to go and check my teeth, then I will be straight back to tell the boss not to bother cooking my steak tonight, really rare, as in raw, sounds lovely.
